Hello, I'm John Galanos, managing director and owner of Professional Engineering Services (PES). With 36 years of experience in defence and commercial communications systems, electronic warfare, air traffic control systems, shelterised applications, wide area networks, shipboard communications, “specialised” communications, EMI/EMC applications, the management of small and large projects, and the rescue and analysis of projects in distress, I and my associates are well placed to provide clients with solutions to their needs.

Who we are

Professional Engineering Services (PES) was established in 1989 to provide engineering and project management services to industry and government departments and agencies. Between 1989 and today, it has continually provided these services to the leading aerospace electronics companies in Australia, the Department of Defence, shipyards, other consulting/contracting firms, and other federal and state government departments and agencies.

What we do

PES provides professional level engineering and project management services for clients who:

Have a temporary overload of their in-house resources and do not wish to hire new full-time employees
Have a need for specialist resources that may be unavailable in-house
Want to provide mentoring for junior in-house staff by experienced external resources
Need a cost-effective solution to an engineering or management task
Have a project in distress needing rescue and recovery
